It seems as if time has really caught up with me, two days out until Christmas, my god! But last week on a gloomy ‘summer morning’ whilst nannying two gorgeous little bebes, the idea of making a gingerbread house came up. Now i’m not gonna ‘sugarcoat’ (ha) it but we didn’t make the gingerbread and you don’t have to either! Plus there's perks of not making your own, for example, the gingerbread roof won’t sink in or fall through because it’s straight outta the oven etc! It was literally a $17 holla box set from our local supermarket. This provided us with hours full of giggles singing christmas carols, the odd fight over decorating lol, sneakily eating all the lollies and at one point pouring icing straight into their mouths… kids lol (says the gal who is training to be a teacher! What have I gotten myself into). The house turned out pretty good too! And yes the giggles I got when I turned up the next day and ALL of the lollies were eaten off it and then turning up the NEXT day with tiny wee bite marks out of each corner! Bless em my wee bebes!

So I would 100% reccomend if need to occupy young children this holiday period then this gingerbread house is a go to! and if you're bored then just do it anyway, there ain't no age limit! ;) -Lucy
